With the downtime created by the COVID19 pandemic, I saw a great opportunity to dive in and add all of the updates and modifications I have been brainstorming about for the last year or so.
| 1. | Remove as much 120V 60hz power and hum as possible |
| 2. | Incorporate cabling flexibility for Amps and mono/stereo |
| 3. | Include an ‘onboard amp’ option if possible |
| 4. | Improve my compressor (remove 120V source) |
| 5. | Add better MIDI control (add Set List option) |
This triggered a few pedal purchases as well as finding a manufacturer for the hinged bridge riser. I had planned on building one myself, but discovered a great resource at fixpedalboards.com and gave them a call. Not only did they have a pretty sweet bridge riser just come out, but they also stocked a usable selection of pedal risers to replace the wood blocks currently providing elevation.
